Friends of the Roxbury Public Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Roxbury Public Library host book sale
Sale Begins: Saturday, December 2 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
And runs through December 15 during regular Library hours
While you are holiday shopping, don’t forget about the great bargains to be had at the Friends of the Roxbury Library December Book Sale.
The Book Sale will kick off on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the Home for the Holidays celebration, and will run the whole week through Sunday, December 15.
“The book sale is a perfect way to stock up on great gifts or refresh your personal stack of books to enjoy,” noted Bauer, president of the Friends of the Roxbury Library. “You’d be surprised at how many of our gently used books and DVDs are very recent and in excellent condition, suitable for gifting.”
All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Roxbury Public Library, which funds the Library’s substantial program offerings all year long.
“Roxbury Library offers such a range of programs for youth and adults, all fueled by the success of our annual Book Sales,” said Bauer. “Things like our annual Tiny Art Show, wellness classes. countless crafts and STEAM activities for kids, concerts, virtual and in-person enrichment programs for adults. If you like a good sale, come pick up some fantastic reads at a fraction of what you’d pay online or at a bookstore. And come back and experience how we spin the proceeds into golden programming that benefits us all.”
Cash, checks or credit cards are accepted. Park in the back lot or on Main St. and please bring your own reusable bags.
“Find your next favorite story at a price that’s hard to beat,” said Library Director Cassie Collussi. “Every sale helps our community grow, so please get something for everyone on your holiday list and do some good for the library!”
