Roxbury Arts Alliance Unveils Exciting 26th Theater Season with a Tribute to Billy Joel and a Divers

The Roxbury Arts Alliance is thrilled to announce the arrival of its 26th theater season, promising an extraordinary celebration of the performing arts. Welcoming both loyal patrons and newcomers, this season boasts an eclectic array of performances spanning diverse genres, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the magic of live entertainment.

Kicking off the season with a resounding crescendo, the curtain rises on September 9th at 7:30 pm, featuring the opening concert "We May Be Right: Tribute to Billy Joel". This dynamic tribute concert pays homage to the legendary Billy Joel and sets the stage for an exceptional season filled with artistic brilliance. As we look ahead to another exciting year, we draw inspiration from the success of the RAA's past seasons, a testament to the enduring power of the performing arts in our community. Each month, 1-2 events await all audiences, from classic rock to big band, country hits to Motown, a hilarious comedy night, a captivating dance performance, two stage productions and more, this season offers a rich tapestry of entertainment.

Headlining acts to take the stage also include The Pushcart Players performing a family favorite, Peter & the Wolf on September 16th. This modern take on the classic musical tale is the perfect way to introduce children to theater, with its lively story about a young boy’s summer adventures alongside his animal friends. The fall musical The Drowsy Chaperone will run for 2 weekends beginning October 6th and spiritual intuitive Catherine McCall will close out the month with a unique event that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

The Roxbury Arts Alliance is committed to delivering unforgettable experiences that will resonate with patrons of all tastes and preferences. The 2023-24 theater season runs through May.

This annual fair is held in front of the Roxbury Library, Methodist and First Presbyterian Churches on Main Street in Succasunna from 10am to 3pm.
