Jefferson Museum Open House June 7
June 7 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
The Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, will present a “soft” opening on Sunday, June 7, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. Admission is free. Visitors will enter the Museum through the front door, tour the display on the first floor, proceed downstairs to Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe and exit through that door. Upstairs will be closed because of the narrow staircase. The Museum Garden Club will hold a perennial plant sale on that same date also from 11-2. Only perennial plants will be sold. The Shoppe will also be open. Jefferson Historical Society officers will be present to ensure the safety of our guests.
The Museum is located at 315 Dover-Milton Road, Jefferson Township. Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe is packed with new and vintage items for sale, perfect for spring or anytime. You may be lucky enough to see some spring flowers poking through in the Museum’s lovely gardens, too.
