Colleen McNamara reads from her letter

Paul D. Pinsonault Memorial Foundation scholarship recipient, Colleen McNamara, read from her letter of thanks to the Foundation before the start of the race: “Your foundation has prompted me and inspired me to continue as a communal participant in this small borough of Hopatcong and therefore I will be “paying it forward” [Today] I will be joining the Chief’s Challenge Run, as a means of repaying a debt and continuing on the legacy of the late Paul D. Pinsonault. ……I even talked my family into joining the challenge as well. It will be exciting! None of us are runners, but it will be a chance to give back and say thank you because not only is your foundation a wonderful addition to our town, but, it is a lovely facet of the community which enables youth to pursue their dreams. Your foundation will help me to pursue my dream of a college education.”
