Jefferson schedules fireworks for July 13!

In conjunction with the third annual Jefferson Fest celebration, a huge aerial fireworks display will be presented by Interstate Fireworks Company on the fields at the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ on Saturday, July 13. If you’ve never seen these fireworks in the past two years during Jefferson Fest or during decades of Jefferson Township Days, the Jefferson Arts Committee can guarantee that you are in for a real treat.  If you’ve seen them before, you know that this is one of the very best shows in the entire area if not in the state!

The fireworks will begin at 9:30 pm following an exciting two-hour concert featuring the band Jersey Sound at 7:30 pm. Jersey Sound is a premier band performing throughout the tri-state area known for its versatility.  They offer an eclectic blend of classic Oldies, Motown, R&B British Invasion, and Pop with the very best vocalists and a killer rhythm section holding it all together.   Listen to them at www.jerseysound.com

Free admission and free parking all day and evening and handicap parking with decal.  No alcohol, drugs, fireworks, bicycles, dogs/pets, and large coolers allowed.

The field opens at 5 pm with free admission and free parking so come early to enjoy children’s activities, DJ Earl, and the food offerings from nine food trucks.  Be sure to bring a chair or blanket for comfortable seating.
