Not much going on last week, between the rain and the wind…But they did manage to pick away at some fish.
We are starting to see some nice walleye, along with some hybrid stripers, white and yellow perch, along with some crappie and pickerel.
Bruce Litton, while fishing with his son Matt, managed to get themselves two nice walleyes weighing 3 lb 9 oz and 4 lb 9 oz and a striper weighing 5 lb 1 oz. using the small herring as their bait. The fall jigging is also starting, using ice Rapalas and Gotchas, along with some different blade baits.
Dow’s Boat Rental will remain open with boat rentals and bait until November sometime, depending on the weather, and we will then be open for ice fishing with bait and any tackle you may need.
Have a great week…
